Healthy Chocolate Mousse

Healthy Chocolate Mousse? What could be better? It’s the perfect, easy-to-make Summer pudding to make. Full of natural and healthy ingredients, this mousse allows to eat your guilty pleasures without any of the guilt! This quick mousse will only take 15 minutes from start to finish and requires barely any effort at all.

Prep time : 15 minutes

Serves: 4

Healthy chocolate mousse

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 heaped dessert spoons 100% cacao powder
  • 1 Kiwi Fruit
  • 4 Dates (I use 6 if I have sugar loving visitors)
  • 1 Avocado
  • Berries ripe to serve

 Method

  1. Put dates in a saucepan and cover with filtered water and bring to boil and simmer until dates are soft(10 minutes) or until you are ready.
  2. Let it cool and when the dates are soft take out the date seed and put all the liquid and dates into a Nutribullet add the other ingredients blend and fill dishes until they are half full. They are ready to eat or you can refrigerate them until needed.
  3. Add chopped berries (raspberries, blueberries and chopped strawberries) and serve.

You can add raspberry coulis, cacao powder, mint or any yoghurt, cashew cream but the berries are so deliciously ripe I like to keep it plain
